A few days ago I came across a box that hadn't been unpacked since we had left Australia, it just got put to one side, for the last 12 months it has been on a shelf in the garage and I was curious what was in there. This time I have unpacked everything it in and will be using it, including the soup bowls that were used the other night.
But this post is about something else. It is about our vast CD collection. We don't tend to buy CDs anymore, we prefer to buy music online through iTunes and then move it straight to the iPod to listen to. As a result there are all these CDs that have been taking up a few boxes and are not being listened to. I must add here that there are absolute favourites that have been saved onto the computer and are on the iPod. But not all. I nearly put them all to the side, ready to go upstairs to the storeroom, but then I had a better idea. I thought why not find somewhere where I can unpack them, and I can listen to some music. So I made the decision to unpack the CDs and make my way through listening to them.
I want to start with a Christmas song album that I purchased last year, after all, we now have the tree up and decorated. So I feel in a festive mood.
